About

Life feels like a heavy burden…

You’ve gone through so much… you can’t seem to manage it all on your own.

You’ve tried self-help techniques, talking to your friends and relatives for advice, you even tried going to your pastor for spiritual counseling… but the sadness and fear just won’t go away.

“I should be able to handle this.”

After all, it happened so long ago. You thought if you just didn’t talk about it, it would be fine, but it’s not.

You are not motivated, you can’t manage relationships, you have nightmares, sleepless nights, and you struggle with feeling as if you’re a fraud, a phony.

Afraid people will discover this dark secret, that underneath it all, you’re not ok.

You don’t have to stay caught in this cycle.

You walk into the office, nervous and apprehensive.

Will I like my therapist? Will she understand me?

You wonder if this is the right fit.

The first thing you notice is the bright room and the welcoming environment.

Immediately, you relax a little and realize it may not be as bad as you think.

Isn’t therapy supposed to be a serious journey of tears and discovery?

Then in the middle of telling your story, you start laughing. “Wait,” you ask. “Did I just laugh?”

As you settle into the process, you start to notice that, one step at time, you’re changing. The anxiety subsides – hope is creeping into the corners of your mind.

With a smile spreading across your face, the world starts feeling a little less scary. Week by week, you get closer to your dream of complete health.

But more than that, you realize that your joy, faith, and laughter have returned.

Discovering Your Unique You

After exploring your depths, you realize you like yourself.

Confidence returns, and you find you can handle both the ups and the downs of life with strength.

The view from the top of the mountain is worth the journey!

You climbed the mountain of despair, passed through the challenges, and made it to the peak of triumph.

As your therapist, I am your coach on the journey toward transformation.

I will gently guide the journey at your pace.

A Powerful Ally in your Transformation

I will meet you where you are and walk alongside you, encouraging you all the way.

Raising four children as a military wife, I have experienced the full range of laughter and loss.

I will be by your side in the hard times and for the exciting times of self-discovery.

The process toward transformation will require various tools and techniques.

I’ve learned many techniques and will teach you skills that you can place into your personal toolbox to use when you leave the office.

You’ll learn how to challenge the negative thoughts that trouble your mind and bring self-doubt.

As you add to your toolbox, your confidence will grow. You’ll begin to understand yourself, what you need to stay healthy, and your personal processes that are hindering your life.

Let me help you find that place of inner peace.

Our work will help you regulate and manage your moods through the mastery of coping skills and mindfulness techniques.

My passion is to see you become your authentic you. No one else. Just you.

You’re perfectly and wonderfully made, and my goal is to help you see that for yourself.

About Me

I am the mother of four children and the wife of a military vet.

I became a therapist because my passion is to help families and individuals live the most abundant life possible.

I have experienced love and loss, joy and sadness, and have overcome many obstacles. I learned to love nature walks to calm my soul, and I enjoy reading and relaxing on my couch.

Life may throw me lemons, but I have learned to make lemonade (with a little bit of sugar).

Laughing is my specialty (and, boy, do I laugh loud)! I enjoy a good joke, and I love to have fun with friends and family.

My motto in life is John 10:10 – “I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
